Fewer people may become homeless this year, thanks to a grant just announced by PA Governor Wolf. The 2018-19 round of Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement (PHARE) awards include $75,000 for rental assistance that will be managed by New Bethany Ministries. “A major advantage of the PHARE program is that the decisions on how the funding should be spent are driven locally,” said Governor Wolf.

The newly-named Diane Elliott Center for Community Partnerships provides employment assistance, retail assistance, wellness services, and educational opportunities. For over 34 years, New Bethany Ministries has offered essential services to those experiencing hunger, homelessness, poverty, or suffering from mental illness in Northampton County.

New Bethany Ministries recently partnered with Corporate Environments for Chair-ity. The event is a unique art auction that is rarely seen in the Lehigh Valley. The auction featured an iconic office chair and table along with various others works transformed into stunning works of art by interior designers and architects of local architectural firms. We partnered with Corporate Environments raising funds through the auction benefiting the programs and services of New Bethany Ministries.
