Transitional Housing Program

Our Transitional Housing Program is one of the few family-based emergency shelters in the region, residents receive immediate transitional needs, with a goal to find permanent housing. Families are referred to the program via Lehigh or Northampton County. Clients enrolled in the program live in our Transitional Housing Facility and work with a Case Manager on action steps to move towards stability and self-sufficiency. Families are reviewed after three months in the program and can earn an additional three-month stay while continuing to build on their action plan.

Over the course of 2019, 25 families participated in our Transitional Housing Program. These families included 28 adults and 73 children. In total, we provided 12,030 shelter nights to families working towards self-sufficiency.
