Educate and Advocate
As we maintain our basic service programs to help those in need reach self-sufficiency, we also realize that a future without hunger and homelessness relies largely on education and advocacy. Here we collect resources discussing issues, laws, and policies that perpetuate poverty. This chart shows the change in the number of renters and the supply of affordable housing for rent. There is a cumulative shortage in affordable/available rentals for lower-income households. This creates a surplus for higher income levels. To learn more, check out the Gap Report to the right.
